thanks for the kind words, the first issue of amazing stories isn't rare, but it is tough to find without any glue or tape and supple white pages. Very happy with this copy.

Wifey bought me this one at an estate sale for $5. She had no idea what it was and it was they only one they had. I very willingly burned through her "honey do" list that weekend!

Seeing all these Buck Rogers books reminds me of this little group shot I took a while back. The one on the right I've had for about 20 years, the other two are much newer additions (and much higher grade).

With all this Amazing Stories Buck Rogers Mania going around I feel its my collectors duty to mention that my undercopy of this book is currently on E-Bay. Look under August 1928 Amazing Stories.

Nice - interesting how Paul created the preliminary yet Gernsback was so eager he published it as is for the cover of the 1st issue.

Great pulps all around and hoard is the right word for it. Just picked up the 10/33 Batwoman Weird Tales off of ebay. Doesn't quite make up for the super high grade one I sold on ebay circa 1998.
