A whole lot of high grade Weird Tales and many others in the Heritage Auction beginning at the end of April. Curious to see what the VF/NM "Queen of the Black Coast" reaches... I doubt I'll win it. but I may have to make someone work for it. GOD BLESS....

They really are.  I think the Argosies are ultimately from that collection I was grabbing at the LCS last year, no idea where the Star Detective turned up.  Always fun to see the Goodman pulps, I've only got a handful.

Sharing a few highlights from a big batch of Astoundings which arrived last week. Had quite a bit of fun unpacking this box!

Complete At the Mountains of Madness by Lovecraft from Feb-April 1936.

Shadow Out of Time by Lovecraft in June 1936. 

Dangerous Dimension by Hubbard (first Astounding appearance) in July 1938. 

Who Goes There  by John Campbell later adapted into The Thing in August 1938.

Lifeline by Heinlein, his first published sci fi story in August 1939.

Yeah, I count maybe 7 or so (couple in the Argosy title, Shadow, Dynamic and.this one)

A couple digest finds in the wild today.  The Amazing Stories was already on my list for the Heinlein article; the PKD Galaxy was a "It's 3 bucks, why not?".

It's nice to be getting out to stores more again, I hadn't been there in a year and a half at least.
