Exactly who is "The Dentist"?

OK, I have people here refer to "The Dentist" for years. He sounds like the latest super-villian cooked up by Marvel, but here is what I know about the guy (I think):

1. He owns the Mile High copy of Action #1

2. He is not selling it but if he ever did it would sell for over a million

3. He bought it for $20,000 in 1982

Here is what I don't know about him:

1. What is his real name?

2. How large is his collection?

3. What else does he collect?

4. What other premier books are in his collection?

5. Is he a real dentist?

6. In what state does he live?

7. Has his Action #1 been graded by CGC? And if so, what is the grade?

the answer is no. Everyone knew it was a ridiculous price to pay. ( SO did Dave, but he was willing to pay what it took no matter what.) And thast he'd be buried in that book for a long time... Everybody was right. But its been almost 30 years later, the hobby continued to grow, its status as the BEST copy has never been challenged, and now he is the very proud owner of the very best copy of the very best comic book in the world.

Geppi offer is true, according to 2nd hand story from folks at Motor City Comics, and this was a few years back. No idea about Nick Cage offer

Question 8. Did he think that $20,000 was a fair price for that book in 1982?

He probably got screwed by a shill bidder because they didn't have snipe programs back then.

OK, then here is another couple questions:

9. Who owned MH Action #1 between the time Chuck found it and the time the dentist bought it in 1982? Was it one person? Or multiple owners?

10. How much did Chuck sell MH Action #1 for in 1977?

11. What steps has the dentist taken to preserve his MH Action #1 for the last 25 years beyond the usual "bagging and boarding" it?

12. Does the dentist only collect DC? And only Golden Age?
