Maybe it's been mentioned elsewhere on the boards, but this is beyond the pale...two books, both listed as reprints by the seller in their blurbs, going for prices that defy logic...

 

ASM GRR at $3K + :insane:

 

Tec 359 Millenium edition at $180 :o

You can add most of zilla's auctions to the list as well. Last week a raw TTA #93 went for over $400. Looked 9.0/9.2 at best.

 

You saw that too? lol

 

I sold a slabbed 9.2 that blew that one away for under $300 :tonofbricks:

That's because no one with any sense has bothered to grade these professionally....

Exactly, it isn't even a 9.8 or 9.9. That book in that grade is worth cover price, yet two legit ebayers have pushed it up to almost $200.

 

Maybe the new fad is for Millenium editions...
