Maybe it's been mentioned elsewhere on the boards, but this is beyond the pale...two books, both listed as reprints by the seller in their blurbs, going for prices that defy logic...

With Zillaf you can kind of understand the feeding frenzy, as he brought a new HG collection to ebay which was always going to attract major attention (dammit).

Exactly, it isn't even a 9.8 or 9.9. That book in that grade is worth cover price, yet two legit ebayers have pushed it up to almost $200.

 

Maybe the new fad is for Millenium editions...

That was nuts considering you could probably fish a bunch of copies out in that grade range for half the price.

I was watching that ASM GRR auction and I too think someone is in for a huge surprise. I've seen several GRR slabbed selling for under 200. :shrug:
