Pretty good issue this week. Nothing spectacular but there are a couple of "oh mess" pages toward the end of the story.

Good issue...was hoping for more excitement since it's the final issue for the War. But as seen in the last panel... excitement is definitely on it's way. Really love the Negan connecting cover, it's a gorgeous set when you put them up together. Bravo to the artist.

I thought the double-splash page of walkers was awesome and I couldn't help but wonder how long it took Charlie to draw the backs of their heads

 

and

 

I felt that the scene between Rick & Andrea where she's making him feel 'young' was a little out of place. Rick looks and acts so feeble now...had they not let Negan mess Rick's leg up I wouldn't feel that way so much but I don't see how he could ever handle himself realistically against Negan or another adversary like Beta in the future. Maybe that scene was just to affirm to us that Rick's still capable? I don't buy it, though...he needs to have surgery to fix that leg or never get physical in any future confrontations.

Just so you guys know, this is an incentive cover for the 25 cent issue #163. The color version is 1:200 and there's a BW version that's 1:500.

I found the 3 set for $150 for the reg issue, then the 1:200 and 1:500. Is that the best price I'm going to find?

I know those b&w variants can be expensive but I'm gonna be if I have to pay more than $20 for the color version. Don't see any on the bay...I left a message with my LCS so I'll see what they say.
