Popular Post Point Five
A Baker grail of mine. Love the handling of the lady and the car so much. (OK, the guy's all right too.) Such a cheerful cover. Thanks to a kind boardie for letting this one go. adamstrange, Changer, pmpknface and 11 others

Such a flirty cover in such a ‘50’s wholesome way. One turned up here in a board sale a couple years ago. @Ricksneatstuff beat me to it. Man, I was bummed. But God bless Rick. He quickly turned up another copy and sold me his undercopy for exactly what he paid for it. Still grateful Rick. It’s locked up safely in my collection! davidtere, Ricksneatstuff, Yorick and 4 others
Microbia
Lucky guy having the car and the girl. Curious if the roadster was based on a particular model. Point Five

IMO shows that the higher grades are exponentially coveted, and most bakers, lower grade ones are reasonably accessible Point Five, Chief1332 and comicnoir

In my opinion not a great Baker example or one of the better Texan covers. But I guess there's a woman in a dress/skirt?

I'd put 5 there too, but beyond those 2 there is a dropoff. 8 9 and 11 aren't bad and 6 has the first appearance of Wakanda (?) but the issues without prominent women don't compare to almost any issue of the Hawk (by Baker). comicnoir and Point Five

If you *need* a woman on a Baker cover, I like #4 more; probably #8 as well (she's not front-and-center, but she has a red dress!) Overall, I like the different compositions used on #s 11 and 12.
