I get that. If chipping is your deal-breaker that's cool. I would rather have light pre-chipping than a crease, but that's me and I know that chipping just kills a lot of people. To each his own.

Wow...that Twin Citie copy looks so well preserved. If it wasn't for that darn crease...still an incredible copy.

I think the 1.8 on clink will raise the bar on the low end foshizzle. A record high is my prediction.

Anyone know why this is a 1.8 book? (shrug) There aren't any comments on the label, such as "missing pages" or "cover detached". Did this book get hosed by CGC or what? (shrug)

Trying to figure this out myself. That books looks way better than my 2.5 lol. Ive seen other 2.5 that look like 4.0 and those books worry me cause there has to be something really wrong. just like this 1.8, also theres no BC scan right?

Call CGC for the notes...that's what I would do if I was gearing up to buy it, but I'm not, so I will just admire it as it appears to me (worship)

Looks like the the "nice cover" appeal 1.8 has a detached staple on the bottom and a huge stain on the back cover, which knock down the grade of that copy.

Did you call for notes? Looking at the scan I can see the bottom staple (or what I think is a bottom staple) so I don't see how it would be detached.

I was curious and I did call for the notes. (thumbs u

Mystery solved! Pretty much what we all thought, I think, but it is still a pretty book from the front and should do well at the auction.
