I'd ask this in the general section but everyone would accuse me of just tryin to bash heritage which I'm not trying to do at all but why do they run their Sunday auctions so that they all end at the exact same time???

Is it just me or doesn't that really limit a lot of bidding? Personally, I always go thru the books at auction(usually on comiclink) and write down the ones I want. I usually have a group of must have books and books I want if they go at a price I like. As the auction progresses, if I miss out on books early in the auction, I'll almost always bid on later books that I wouldn't have bid on if I won some of the earlier auctions. Ending them all at the same time though definitely limits what I'll bid on since I can only afford a certain amount and dont know which I'll win.

Am I missing something or am i in the extreme minority bidding that way?

What is the reasoning behind ending them all at the exact same time?

I've never bid on a Sunday auction but if that is the way they do things it's really strange and it definitely limits buyers.

What the hell is going on with the back cover or that i cant see to knock that to a 3.0?!? Without question that has to be the nicest looking 3.0 on the planet! (shrug)

I'm seeing a lot of waving on the front cover, so I'm guessing that's either from the book itself or as a byproduct of the restoration? In any event, I can see that bringing the grade down a bit.

Still, a pretty, pretty book. :cloud9:

Spidey's face and chest is a little washed out. i am thinking some young pup with an eraser took spidey's face off many years ago. But, i can't complain--it's gorgeous to look at!
