Your kids will be doing the happy dance one day when they inherit that beauty!

I've decided not to keep this win private. I've earned it and I present it to you. Be sure and read page 13 of the below link (it takes a minute to load) about the Sarley collection currently in the HA. Ed Sarley died suddenly in the early 70s and left this and many other comic gems. His AF15 is ultra fresh, with print day colors, and no resto (or pressing). It's now mine, and I can't decide whether to celebrate or cry. :acclaim::cry:

Life is short indeed.

Very nice, congratulations. That is a wonderful collection of books he had.

I heard the auctioneer lady comment saying congrats to the winner. It's good to know that she appreciated what she was auctioning off.

It sure is pretty.

It's been a while since a really nice copy with decent page quality and eye appeal came to auction and this one set a new record.

Congrats.

Lucky son...two nice HG AF15's. :cloud9:

+1

Thats awesome what you're doing!

It would be SOOOO easy to sell the 7.5 to pay a decent chunk of your new beauty off and just figure that "hey, someday my son will have the 8.0 anyways". To keep the 7.5 for him to enjoy now, definitely deserves two big fat (thumbs u (thumbs u

Dad of the year without question, end of discussion :headbang:

Dad of the year for sure. Your /son 7.0 copy is doing just as well...a gem in anyone's collection. Owning a complete AF15 in 1.0+ gives one a great feeling :cloud9: I don't think I will ever be content if I didn't have an AF15.
