You need to find an incomplete copy to buy, and marry the two books together.

+1

Awesome book! Man, I just love your signature line! And you just finally added the holiest of all HOLY GRAILS to it! :headbang:

Soon, my brother! Another boardie helps me with this, and we've got a third line of books to add! a few surprises too (though none as powerful as the AF15!)

Nicely done!!! :applause:

Your signature lines look complete now as far as mega keys go. Very stunning to behold, especially with all those CGC 6.5 to 9.0 grades side-by-side!

cgc 7.5 closed at $57K last night! Wow, this book is not stopping ... might be a bit inflated with the movie hype but still surprised considering HA has two in their auction at the same time.

I was just wondering if the market has cooled on this book now that the movie is out.

It's been quiet around these parts. Everyone must be nursing hangovers from SDCC.

the 6.0 and 7.5 were pretty copies in grade, must have contributed to their strong pirices.....will definitely be interesting to see what happens when 2 more close (and close together)

For something like the Avengers which, wasn't exactly a part of mainstream pop culture, I think movie hype can be attributed to the increase in prices (Iron Man 55, is another good example of this.)

However, Spider-Man has been a household name for such a long time that I can't see how a reboot can be inflating the prices that heavily.

I wish I had the GPA numbers from back when the first Raimi movie came out, so we could compare the two time periods.

I like the theory that some of the older mega keys (TeC 27, Action 1), are getting so far out of collector/investors' budgets that they are moving in on AF15 and other SA keys before its too late.

I started this thread a little over four years to collect the stories of fellow AF#15 collectors. One part of me is truly amazed at how many replies and views this thread has garnered, but another part knows what a part of history this book has become.

After twenty years of being a member of this club, I have recently sold my copy. I know in my heart of hearts that I will never own another. It has been a privilege to be a member, but circumstances required me to part way with my copy.

Thanks for all those who have contributed in this thread. I will continue to read your stories and revel in all things AF#15.

Has anyone seen the 7.0 on highgrade. It is a pretty book but should a 7.0 have that much chipping? Bob has it discounted. I just wonder how many folks that turns off versus the number the 7.0 intrigues.
