the rocky sold at a comiclink auction about a year ago for about $32K.

then it sold recently as a 'for sale' on comiclink for $38K.

now its a no reserve auction.

 

will be very interesting to see where it ends up.

my bet is about the $35K mark.

I am here no need to fear- this topic will never slide to the 2nd page. This is the single most important book in the last 50 years+. Spiderman rules over all the superheroes in the marvel universe!

 

AF15 is the King of Kings! I've stated this time and time again. AF15 is extremely undervalued! Current prices are an absolute steal compared with demand and supply. In fact all the marvel keys and many of the dc silver age keys are way cheap!

 

Those guys who make 450K+ a year (many out there) can easily buy up all the silver age keys in vg+ or better with 1 months's paycheque. That should not be the case. These comics should be worth way more.

He got mine within $500.00...no kidding.

agreed even the cgc 4.0`s will look like bargains in 5 to 10 years. Disney/Warner have a lot planned for introducing these characters to wider audiences.

I have seen a overall slowdown on all comics related things lately,ebay,comiclink,heritage even these boards overall postings have been down recenty, maybe because of the summer? hm

Yes, the purple label pricing is all over the place based on what restoration is there. Color touching is a lot different than replacing missing paper etc.

 

The PLOD 9.0 that sold on HA for $6500 had the normal stuff for MP work.

 

here is one that I bought in 2005/2006 for $3500. I should have bought a 5.0 blue for $3500. I went for the higher grade. It looked way better. RESALE - should have done the Blue!!! Sold the af15 summer 2009 for $3600. only trimmed - 3 sides.
