Any speculation on the ending price ? hm

 

It's in HA's May auction ending May 16th. Already at $55k ($66k with BP). Very clean grays.

i will probably stop bidding in the 80s somewhere.

If you bid in the 80s, you own it G (went for 72k) :baiting:

 

I thought it would go in the $80s or 90s (with BP). Possibly the tanning on the back cover hurt it some. (shrug)

It wasn't the nicest 8.0.. Perhaps the tanning played a role in the price

 

I agree. The upper left corner is a darker tan so to speak.

 

Just noticed an 8.0 went for 85k recently on C-Link and an 8.5 went for 120k.

 

Appeal has a lot to do with the book when you bid in the stratosphere.

 

Not to downplay the HA 8.0, it is a very nice book. (thumbs u
