Amazing Fantasy #15 Club

7,730 posts in this topic

Here's my addition to the AF15 club. It's in my signature. :hi:

Don't take this personally, but those books in your signature aren't all that impressive. If it'd make you feel better, I could PROBABLY take them off your hands, but they're old and just not worth much. But, I wouldn't mind doing you the favor ;)

These babies are in good hands..."beauty is in the eye of the beholder". Superman is my favorite, next is Green Lantern, and last but not least...Spiderman.

Ha! Ha! Of the GAs, I'd probably say that train cover is my favorite. That's something that kills me--train cover Superman issue always seem to be pricey. Not sure if it's because they're just earlier or if there's a secret collecting niche that's into them.

And with regards to the staggering price difference between the 7.0 and 7.5, I can only assume this turned into a bidding war between two people with little regard to actual market values.

I was watching that AF15 7.5 too...just a bit too rich for my blood.

I quit collecting from 2005 until this year in large part to build up enough cash to buy nice copies of ASM 1, FF 1, and AF15. I put in a snipe on this one, but it went a bit nuts...

Good plan. I just can't imagine paying over 50K for a funny book. I guess I'll just settle with a 6.0-7.0 AF one of these days. :)
