This was my first successful marriage and I wanted to show off the happy newly weds. I'll post some before and after pics.

I bought a complete Detective Comics 26 from the boards with a married front cover and no back cover. I really wasn't looking for this particular comic, but it was love at first sight. A pretty front cover and the first time batman's name ever appeared in print in a cool teaser ad.

I started hunting for a back cover immediately. After a few months,  I found an incomplete Action 11 that shared the same back cover.  The cover was already split,  which I was happy about,  because I didn't want to perform surgery on an 81 year old comic.

I sold the rest of Action 11 to a board member who was able to complete his project.

I then sent the book to Kenny Sanderson who leaf casted the cover back together and did some cleaning and pressing to make them match.  Kenny's work is amazing. Couldn't be happier.

I'm including a ton of pics of the before, the leaf casting process and after.

Help  an old man out,    I  need  one  more  cheap  thrill now that  I'm   retired,  :D

Hello there I am looking for a COVERLESS copy of WONDERWORLD COMICS #7!! I have a very nice cover and plan on sending to Kenny to complete the marriage :)

I also have a coverless Mystery Men Comics #7 so either I need a cover or more likely I would sell to someone that has one to complete their book!!

I am sure the back cover was cleansed beforehand.  Your book looks great for many ages!

Yeah, this is probably my favorite book in my collection.

I mean, the book is really really cool, but I also enjoyed the process of finding parts and working with a pro to bring it together

The quality of work speaks for itself,  but the communication and education you get along the way is unparalleled.

I hope to work with him again soon and I'll endorse him to anyone else looking into having work done.
