Same here! I Have a few of his Catwoman covers enroute. Unfortunately not the really expensive ones

This was, I believe, Adam's first pro work. He did backgrounds for a couple of issues of this.

His first story art, I believe, was a 6 pager in Star Rangers #2, called 5 Footsteps to Hell, written by Mark Ellis. Great Dave Dorman cover.

His first full (26 page!) story came in Death Hawk #1... a hero that carries his 'one eyed monster' around with him, would, you'd think, be a great set up for AH. But no... fairly tame...

The Maze Agency had some pretty decent covers, but, not the AH that we know and love, EXCEPT for, this little gem on the cover of #4:

Somebody must have noticed something, because that led to those Legends of the Stargazers covers, and then the JL job. BUT, just before he did that awesome cover to JL #34, he came out with this... and AH was on his way!

That was definitely a place I was probably going to buy, but you can't see inside the books, only covers. Net, looking for suggestions. Guess I will just pick a few that I like ones where I like their covers.

There's a registry set for Hughes Covers. I don't know if it's 100% complete, but it's a starting point.
