I have other dealers buying them from me at shows now. Everyone has the Hughes spec fever now.

Dollar Books for Adam Hughes was practically non existent at NYCC, and Adam Hughes didn’t even come to the show.

I'll post mine  not from nycc  but new this past week  really some are on the cheap, but not if your in the 9.8 territory. As far as "key's" many are not "necessarily" but they're fun to look at haha

Nice, lots of stuff I love to pick up in bargain bins there! That Tomb Raider Journeys book must be the largest print run of all of his Tomb Raider covers, because I have amassed a STACK of those things from years of box diving, but otherwise only a handful of his other TR covers.

I haven't followed AH, but these pictures are definitley showing me I've missed a lot of great work. My wife came home yesterday after hitting the LCS, said she found a new book and picked an awesome variant cover, turns out it was AH!

Yep.  Her job is close enough for lunch break runs to the lcs,  where she has her own pull list. She picked this one just for the cover.

Do a store variant with a print run of 5,000 copies = 50 copies since store variants count towards ratio books

Ah, interesting.

Was the Hughes 1:100 announced prior to the store deciding to do a store variant? I mean, that's pretty savvy if the owner knew about the "rare" Hughes book ahead of time.
