I hear you. I am only thinking about it anyway. The hassle might not be worth it. I guess I should be happy with my copy as I only paid 30¢ for it (average when you add up all the other comics I bought). And a 7.5 is not bad at all really. Still a FN/VFN.

Actually it is VF- is 7.5

VF=8.0, VF+=8.5, VF/NM=9.0

Fn/VF is 7.0... so you have it good at the moment

Yeah. I'm getting used to the whole numbering system. I guess for the most part until you get past 9.0 the other numbers don't get used like 2,3,4 etc. Like I never see a 8.7, or .75 or 5.3.

10,9.9,9.8....then by 0.2s to 9.0 then by 0.5 ie 8.5 8.0 7.5 and so on until you get to 2.0 then it's like 1.8, and I don't know the rest until It gets to 0.5 and no grade

Strange eh? I used the old OVERSTREET system for so long that it's part of the blood stream. But I am getting used to the numbering system now. Even for an old timer like me. The problem is the nuance in the lower and higher grades. It's getting used to the little things that can add or subtract even the slightest point. Seems once a book is about VG-VFN things are lot looser.

and 4 of 5 ASM's I subbed.  never had an early whitman ASM in 9.8 and I needed the ASM #210 for the longest time and I got 2 , the White pages being the keeper

To read, yes. I enjoyed the 40s to early 100s of this series a lot. As a financial investment, no. Which I don't understand.
