Brought this bad boy home yesterday. Just getting my feet wet in serious collecting and made my first bigger purchase my favorite Villain.

I mined these two gems from Ghost Town's most recent thread. They look even better in hand!

These two are on my short list of books that I will (eventually) reacquire again.  Got them off the racks back in the day.  Issue #4 is especially a favorite of mine.

Flipping through some high grade hulks from a new collection and came across this nifty item.

Anyone know the book or magazine store at 24 W 5th St.?

So an Oct dated comic was purchased on 10 JUL 1969. 

The receipt was tucked into the upper corner of the book.  A bit of shadow around the white rectangular shape on the inside front cover. 

Almost sad that the comic was bought and probably never read.  Until today......

Maybe he was a slow reader and used as a book mark.

Thanks to Wormboy for hooking me up with this fantastic copy of Supes 233! I've been looking for a nice copy of this book for five years. This is a very strong 9.4 and Tim gave me a great deal on it!

Thanks  I had some Len Wein signed comics, but none that were graded. It's nice to finally have a yellow label  not to be picky but the "N" in Wein looks different than I remembered but hey thay's the way the cookie crumbles and that's the way I like it uhuh uhuh haha

Sups 233 is an underrated book! Great stuff!
