Yeah I mean 3rd prints are definitely rising. Will be interesting to see what this 8.5 at auction finishes at. Someone snagged a 9.2 in the most recent c-link auction for $800. That may end up being a solid price!

This 7.0 is just finishing up now and has already cleared $1,670us - a decent difference between it and that above 6.0. Now I'm reconsidering grading my other raw copies - as I figured I would only slab my 1st print and leave the rest raw to read since they wouldn't be "expensive" :D

Well someone thought it was worth that much lol, with at least one more person if not more feeling it was close to that much. You have to remember the 2nd print is significantly rarer than the 3rd print. So I’d say 2nd has more room to grow than 3rd without question.

Im pretty sure this same book was buy it now $3000 and went to $6400 after a recent 2nd print sold for $2000.

Def worth grabbing the high grade 3rd prints because those 9.4-9.8 3rd prints are going to push crazy money still as most are priced out of the 1st and 2nd.. 3rd printimg is still the number #1 appearance folks and even if it’s 30,000 print copies it’s still lower then Hulk 181 printing that only 10yrs older 👌 food for thought.. Put it this way, were most comics printed in the low 30,000 copies in the mid 80s? "No" which means this 3rd print is still much scarcer then majority of any book that was printed in the 80s..Yes it's not the first print we get it but most books were printed waaaay over 100,000 copies and majority of them were not a major first issue key that could stand up next to the TMNT #1. Can a 3rd print fetch major prices absolutly because it's got everything going for it being still a #1 issue regardless of its a 3rd print.. Time to watch the prices on these go up..pass the popcorn this is gonna be good
