Well, looks like the TMNT 1 market is still on the rise with the new influx of deep pocketed buyers even pushing the CGC 9.6 graded copies up into the price territory of where the CGC 9.8 graded copies once resided, as this copy here just sold for $66K on April Fool's Day:  :whatthe:  :applause:

Well, any guesses from all you TMNT 1 aficionados as to where this CGC 9.6 graded copy will finish up at in CC's big Event Auction next week:  hm

Not sure about the differences in the signed inserts between these 2 copies, but will definitely still be interesting to see if this copy here can continue the push upwards from the HA $66K price realized just last week, since it is currently sitting at only $31,001 for now at least. :popcorn:  :taptaptap:  :taptaptap:

The HA copy was signed by both as well. Had a sketch too, but don't believe that will factor.

I feel this copy will go for less. There was a ton of juice for that auction. Used to be, HA was NOT the place to auction off a TMNT. They were for the big GA, SA keys. Now, with the TMNT rise as a big blue chip, that's the best place for it, IMO.

I'm going to say it won't crack $60k. I'll go $58.5K

Would love to be VERY wrong! :grin:
