Jerel - quit being a showoff with all those 9.9's and 10's :baiting:

You have single handedly piqued my interest in this series. Just read the first issue of the first book and am very intrigued by what I read. Definately looking forward to catching up to the present point in the series.

It's great stuff Jason! (thumbs u

...and what was the comic book where the Locke children appeared in an all new 5 page story, that wasn't a Locke & Key book?

IDW: 10 Year Anniversary Comic Book Sampler to the IDW: First 10 Years book set that came out last year.

poor poor, Jerel... got a L&K book that wasn't a 9.9/10 :baiting:

I'll be finishing a couple more issues in the first book tonight as a means of procrastination and during breaks while starting to write my case papers tonight.

Yes, as you can see in the picture my twins were very angry tonight as I tucked them into bed. They really wanted a Locke & Key: Crown of Shadows #2 CGC 10 variant play partner :insane: .

Volume 3 - Shaping up to be my favorite. The water cavern issue was great.

I finally just read issue #2 of "Crown of Shadows" and I agree with you Pat, this issue was fantastic!

Wow, I'm really excited for #3 now! :headbang:

It was a great way to end the decade(last December) when reading that comic, that was for sure!

I have discussed this on other boards, but I figured I would add this to this thread.

I consider Spider-Man Unlimited #8 an important Locke & Key prototype issue. You can see various things Joe Hill tried in this issue a few years before the Locke & Key series. He considers this issue a failure in writing, I say it showed promise.

Characters puking from high up  .

Characters sporting the "punk" look(piercings, spikey hair, etc.) :headbang: .

Characters referencing about how their butts were saved at the last minute  .

Whole comic book pages devoted to action and sound effects (worship) .

I believe this should be an important book to every Locke & Key owner's set.

Despite being disowned by Mr. Hill  .
