Syd's covers are OK but it's like tasting light beer after you've had fine wine.

Some of his covers were superb, but Syd wasn't as prolific as Alex and his style is less identifiable too.

That’s the first “Robin butt sniffing” cover. Became a huge fad in the mid 40s up to about 1953.
