No, he did not have a lot of work in the pulps. Looks very ECish doesn't it.

Planet Stories V4 #12 May 1951.

 

There is some spine loss (about 3/4 inch) at the top of the spine and the back cover is torn at the top and bottom of the spine about 3/4 inch. Otherwise a nice pulp.

 

Has two great Ed Cartier interior illustrations

this one has a smal tear at the top of the front cover at the spine and a small stain over Anderson at the bottom (Poul Anderson)

This one has a great Kelly Freas bare breasted woman cover

and three super interior illustrations by him. Also has a Eando Binder story

I've never seen the interiors, and have no idea what I'm buying beyond the cover.

There can be some fantastic art in the interiors. You just have to look. The Wood illustration is superb. And he didn't do but a few for the pulps.

 

Then you have people like Kelly Freas. And of course the great Virgil Finlay.
