Could this 9.0 be the same copy that Doc Joe posted as an 8.5 all the way back on page 3 of this same thread? (a little hard to tell because the 8.5 picture is small, but some similarities on outer right edge and the spine)

I'm probably hallucinating but do I see faint pen/writing on the boy's wrist on the back cover ad?  If so, did the Doc Joe 8.5 copy also have this but more importantly, I can't believe it got graded 9.0 if it is pen because I know the grading people dislike erasures.  Hope my link to the Heritage auction works and is helpful, otherwise you know where to find it...

I just loaded some of my Australian Flash so while I had the box out I took a photo of this. If you also look closely it is slightly different. Not just some inking and colors but the missile position has changed to allow for titling. SC 23 and 24 are also here not sure about GL 1 but GL from 2 on was actually sold here so GL was no longer printed here. This is from maybe 6 months (or less) after SC 22 was published in the US.

Neatoh!!!!  Thanks for showing.  Never seen that before.  I see what you mean about the angle change.   But Hokey Pokey, where's his right foot?

We're all familiar with GL's weakness to the colour yellow as evidenced by that yellow missile on the Aussie cover you were kind to display but I can't help wondering if he has another achilles heel. Maybe his right foot is photo shy LOL

Bought mine back on page 150 of this thread... What a weird book... I'd consider it a MEGA SA key but the market seems to disagree.
