I went to an auction house estate sale today and targeted this, which I came home with.

That is a crease on the left but still, got it for much less than I would have paid. I should have taken pictures, there were about 10 GA comics all in all. The most $ one went for $600 IIRC and was a stunning copy but I forget the title (America's Best Comics perhaps, there was one of those there but I digress). It wasn't ABC but it had some American Indians getting whacked upside the head with a totem pole! There was Whiz 16, 17, and 37, Captain Marvel Adventures 90, All-Hero 1, America's Best 19 and a few more.

I ended up with these two as well as two boxes of assorted grooviness (including 7 Batman Archives including #7, the expensive one)

Paid $20 for the Master 104, which is fine by me. They had some tin signs and I got a few but one was partnered with this poster, which I knew would go home with me as soon as I saw it.

I'll be on the lookout for a nice copy of that book now as well. Gotta have it! If I see something cool from the other boxes I'll show it tomorrow.

 

They had a Master Comics 33 as well which I really wanted but I am resigning from my job on Wed and figured that I had spent enough!!! (New job not taken but on the horizon, no worries y'all)

No, I haven't been to Pomona in many years. I used to love the street fair and scored there frequently. I was refering to the Orange Circle. It's on last legs too. The stuff is getting too hard to replace. Here in the midwest, pickers used to drive up and down both sides of the mighty Mississippi hitting all the small towns. They've been picked nearly dry. The only really good stuff comes from estate sales and you have to be really lucky or wired to the "in-crowd."  And most of the good stuff that shows up is from old-time collections that the heirs don't realize or care about the worth.

It was cold and miserable this morning - but I'm glad I headed out to the flea market

These were $3 each

Oh yeah, these two were also $3 each from the same vendor  

These were $40 total from two different vendors

And finally, I couldn't pass this up for $3, even though it doesn't have any of the prints

All in all, a good day at the flea market.

Wow great for you! I’m usually there but have been sick and it was pouring rain when I woke up so I passed. Besides, comics have been non-existent there for quite a while. Glad they went to a boardie instead of the usual sharks!

I bid on this one and two others (Haunt of Fear and Tales from the Crypt) at the estate auction I went to Sat but they went for more than I wanted to spend. Nice!!!

Not really sure why I bought these

In decent shape, and I did get the new teen titans #26 in the raffle...

I might have to get a Finch sketch sometime, ranks up there with Andy Kubert for me...

Cho is an acquired taste, some hits and misses...

Atari force was a cheesy DC comic(Warner entertainment synergy)  that was a tie in the the Awesome Atari 2600! My first & favorite Video game console of all time!

They were also packed in with some of the cartridges too.

I pick up NA #4 when I find it for a buck or less. First appearance of Maria Hill and a nice Finch cover, seems like a winner.
