Responded to a local ad this morning.

Digging through the $0.75 and $1.00 boxes during Free Comic Book Day, except for the Venom TPB (still in a clearance box). The poster/promo looks signed by Bernie Wrightson, but I'm not sure exactly what book it came with (it's two sided). Marvel Age 81 and 82 have New Mutants previews. Lower grade copy of ASM 360.

Went to a flea market today as soon as it opened.  I purchased from two different vendors with comics.  There were a lot of boxes.  Some other guys that started at a different point than I did apparently found some price variants.  I am happy with the two I found.

Nice. This cover art looks like it was Neal Adams plus someone else. The girl and guy holding hands looks like Adams but the two vampires don't at all.

My flea market find today.

Walked up to an older couple. They had a big paper box of all kinds of mostly SA comics. They had just pulled it out of the truck. My good buddy Kookie had arrived just before me so I was forced to just watch his good luck until the guy pulled out another box full. So we both dove into our respective boxes. They quoted the “each” price or 3 for... At this price, you just pile up anything that remotely looks cool, buy ‘em and leave. Both boxes were well mixed so we both did well. 

Fun part was, we were partly through our respective boxes and “The Twins” showed up. These guys are obnoxious and work together to elbow out the competition when comics show up. Most of the comic guys are cool but even all really dislike the twins. They just had to wait and watch while we cleaned out what we wanted even when we switched boxes. Life is so fun sometimes. Nothing real earth shaking but fun cheap stuff. 

I guess my FCB books will have to wait a while...

Yes I guess so. Funny thing is I didn’t really think about it at the time. I really liked the great New Funnies Halloween cover and the Blackhawk dinosaur cover. Turns out it also has a cool Lady Blackhawk story as well. Was a fun find!

Not a bad morning at all and I got my exercise in. $3 for the rattler, masterpiece set was $5, I had been keeping an eye for the fast & furious car to go with the black civic I have. $10 was a good price point. Rest of the stuff was a couple bucks.

Found these 3 Spider-Man Campbell covers from the same vendor in a flea market. Paid $3.50 each. Couldn't believe my luck when I found them, left as 1 very happy customer!

There's an estate auction not too far from me, tomorrow.  Kind of in the boondocks, on a dirt road, that runs along the Canadian border.  It says a wide selection of 10 cent comics.  I wonder if I should check it out?

Those were the only things I picked up when I got them. Did't see any other comic that caught my eye or was interested in.
