main thing is that this copy is complete with stickers! Sure the internet is most people's guide now a days, but it's got most of the nes mini games on it so I can USE it and just keep it in its current condition....

had a pesky $5 sticker on it lol

giant sale tomorrow at estate auction house, X-Men 1 with taped/torn cover and lots more

I have been watching it for more than a month now, probably two and they had an astounding run of bound volumes as well. Then people started noticing, I saw it here, then on bleeding cool, then DC had them pulled until provenance is clarified I guess. So much for the bound copy of leading Comics of the GA Wonder Woman I had my eye on!

so hopefully having that happen a day or two ago will keep a bunch of people home. Then the cold might keep a few from venturing forth (it will be cold, stay home!). In any event, do not be surprised to see me post here tomorrow, I have an itch that maybe Barbara Gordon can scratch!

auction starts in 20 minutes with lots ofSA and BA beaters, then better books

I have my eye on a few things but nothing special. Maybe some Scream magazines that looked nice if I can get them for the right price!

I left with about 20 or 30 books  still to be auctioned some good stuff but I had spent a fair amount and didn’t want to spend more

They had an X-Men one with some hideous discoloration and tape all over the cover that I took to 1800 I think but stop there

Came home with a long box full of dreck a full run of Eternals  including the annual, some strange tales in the 140s because I wanted 146, Mr. miracle Number one and this rag

 

I didn’t do amazing but I did pretty well mostly because I got the Eternals reasonably

Did they pull 100% of the bound volumes out of this auction?  Any word on if they plan on bringing those back to auction?

stuff was expensive but towards the end it seemed to loosen up a bit. It took 4 hours or so and I left with some stuff left, including tons of keys like Surfer 1, X-Men 94 95 96, X-Men 4 12 14, Avengers 57, ASM 121, 300, New Muts 98,87 etc but condition was generally mid grade.

Posted this in the Adventures in the dollar box thread but thought it would fit here as well....

Got this at a Flea Market today in a $1 or 6/$5 box.....

Same Flea Market last August found a NM New Mutants 98.....I love that place!
