Ceck it out I found this bloodstone at the used bookstore for $1.50

Also I found this X-Men #266 for also $1.50 and Praise God it turned out to be a mark jewelers!

I haven't been to HPB is many months, but these posts got me excited and I stopped by today. Nothing exceptional, but a few fun finds.

I seem to be 'King Of The TPB's'  at the moment!

Which isn't idea but keeps the turnover going.

This old pile, plus a bag of complete drek - about 60 comics.

The Ultimates #1 (no issue #2 sadly) was the pick of a very bad bunch of individual comics.

Still all this for $70 USD was not too shabby.

PLUS - he's having a big clean out of his collection later in the year - and I now have 1st dibs

I can’t believe a CGC 6.0 of that sold for $250.

(Also surprised that graded at a 6.0.)

Thanks! Yes in comparison to the one that sold, I thought mine definitely looks better, but may just be presenting better. Still I'm thankful

I had no idea about IM Annual 5. Looks like a nice $20-40 pop, maybe more. There are so many books popping in that range now it is hard to keep up.

With all this snow and ice and parking hard to come by due to snow I am not out and about hunting. Probably for the best as I have so much piled up in my comic room, I need to make space.
