I went back just to show my support, and owner said something like, "I need to check those new mutants more closely!"

We were already in mid chit chat and what came out of my mouth as instinct was, "right?"

I was just caught up in the moment making pleasantries

 

Lol part of me hopes he isn't offended when I'm just like every patron and searching, but more to the point, I hope I didn't somehow point it out or rub in the face that there were deals.

Especially over a NM#99 haha

The chit chat was I paid in quarters and he was thankful and said, " how did you know I needed change? Something must have told you, I need to go by the bank!"

So hopefully he got a kick out if it

$50 yard sale haul. There’s around 60. Could have honestly bought more if I knew from the start the seller was going to be so flexible and generous w pricing. Especially a Star Wars Legacy first app

I also bought these from a different seller for $43. I was waiting for the seller to finish talking with a customer so I was randomly flipping thru a boring longbox of indies. I pleasantly found 3 Luther Strode 1s. Last ditch effort!

These shirts came from a different sale. $19 for all. It was a busy hot weekend

Picked up a few things the last couple days from an auction, a lcs and a small show....

Highlights...

DC Archives pic was $95 at auction...happy with the price on that one...Star Wars were on the cheap...Digest lot was $55...Golden Age were pricey but I liked them so brought 'em home with me!  The All-American Men of War is the first issue...pretty scarce...

And a bunch of other stuff came home with me as well....all-in-all, a couple nice comic book days...

Congrats on the Showcase 96. 

Not an easy book to find.  

I definitely see it as the BoP 1st, but looks like many don't.

Well got a small batch of Golden Age books on Friday. Almost all True Comics about 40 of those, not worth too much. But did get a Batman 34 (complete with the cover still attached) mixed in.

Some $1ish finds the x-factor 234 is a Newsstand price Edition and 1st vigilante

Some nice covers and the death of madrox in #100, I had the red foil as a kid and remember the story....
