Nice find at an antique store yesterday. $3 each, boxes had literally just come in. That Fantastic Four is especially zesty. Plus the chocolate sauce!

At $3 a couple of those are a bit high for the flying donut "buy for $1, sell for $10" business model, no? But I guess you made it all back on 2 of the books.

There's a third version of the Fantastic Four 60, the Baltimore Comic-Con version.

There is a fourth version - Toybiz "Mister Fantastic"

In order of toughness to find:

1) X-Men 423 error version ( this price is crazy, but you can see what it is)

2) Fantastic Four 60 newsstand

3) Avengers 77 error

4) Daredevil 41 newsstand

5) Hulk 55 newsstand

6) X-Men 423 newsstand

7) Fantastic Four 60 Baltimore

8) Avengers 77 newsstand

In my experience, the Avengers 77 error is tougher than the FF60.

And you are kidding about the Baltimore book even being on the list, right?

Just as variants of the original, and we're spoiled here. The Baltimore book is really tough out in flyover country. And yes, I forgot about the "Mr. Fantastic" variant. doh!

There is a car part swap meet here where you can find all sorts of classic car parts. I was looking for stuff for my 65 Mustang and 2 booths had comics. They are in really nice shape except the Mandrake, but I don't find comics from 1937 for 5 bucks to often. (he wanted more than the others for that one since it was old)

Found a handful of Whitman's from the "rares list" (Looney Tunes #35, Daffy Duck #130, Tom & Jerry #331, Winnie the Pooh #22, Beep Beep Roadrunner #91, Tom & Jerry #330) while out of town for a hockey tournament at a Goodwill less than a month ago. My previous single day best was one, so I was pretty surprised to find as many as I did. There are some 75 cent price variants in the pic as well as a DC/Whitman JLA. The last photo is the one I took at the Goodwill store.
