Received a short and sweet email from a girl asking if I would like a list of her comics for sale. Not every day you get a detailed Excel spreadsheet of 3,500 books, especially with their supposed eBay prices. I feel bad for her if she thinks she is going to get $115,000 for these books.

Where did she find these prices? lol. Send her this and say "I thought you said this was $1495 on ebay not $50?"

There's a CGC 9.8 ASM 194 for $1495 on ebay right now so I think she just sorted by highest price for current listings and input that lol. I emailed her back to tell her I'm interested but her prices are out there. I doubt this lead will go anywhere if she has such crazy expectations.

Where does the condition "OK" fall on the 10 point scale? I looked in Overstreet but couldn't find "OK-bag" mentioned either.

In my time buying collections I have learned that it's NM if there's no bag and gem mint 10 if it's in a bag.

Got a great find for 1.99 at my local Goodwill yesterday.

I didn't realize the sig till I was in line.  Extra cool!

The weird (but awesome) thing is that I'd lost a small box of comics during one of my many moves since college, and one of the books I missed most was a signed Thor #337!!!   I met Walt around 1992 in NYCC and he signed mine on the interior first page.  I like this sig better, so it's like a 25 year later upgrade!

OH MAN.This looks very close to a list I got where they listed various issues of Mad comics from issue 80 to around 200 with grades of 9.8 and 9.9. They had well over 1 thousand books and the Mad comics alone were valued at well over $25K

I remember him being a very humble and pleasant guy.  The type that gives people their full and unrushed attention.
