Condition varies greatly. SS4 is so strong colorwise, but one of the books before it has significant tape, That type of thing.

I decided not to drive 30 minutes for an estate sale but stay home and look at my comics. I won't hog the thread but here you go, a few pictures (I'll add some more to this same post later.)

The comics are in pretty consistent runs but here is an early outlier. Beat to heck but not bad for what is essentially a bonus.

 

 

Okay, I think I should start a thread of my own now.

Good Stuff!  And we don't mind group pics.....You made the right call on the estate auction, more often than not they are not worth the time especially considering you just grabbed some great stuff!

yes shrinkwrapped, and no not buried. Owner used to have a comicshop so he doesn't do a lot of shows etc

a few years ago i found one at an estate sale it was also shrinkwrapped and i didnt take it - found an open copy with the poster later on but always regretted not getting the sealed one

Today I went to one garage sale. I had emailed to the lady in asking about the comics she had listed on CL (no pictures). But she said in reply that she has two plastic bin filled. So I took a gamble to drive 25 mins distance.

this is what I got out of 26 Bronze Age books... at about 55 cents ea. Better than nothing anyway in driving.  Not much to show. Hoping to do well in next garage sale next time.

Googled it and found similar image as a 6 foot door poster. Is this one mounted or made of cardboard?

It's mounted on Foam core.

Yesterday was quite eventful. Was planning on taking a 3 hour trip to look at a collection with my buddy and I got a call that morning from another guy that had books along the way. Looked at over 40 large storage contains of comics yesterday between the two and bought around 2 longboxes worth + a bunch of treasuries. We left my house at 11 AM and returned at 3 AM exhausted. Here's some of the better stuff.

Very nice batch of books!  Tired with a mountain of keys is a good feeling.
