One of Dave's best, for sure. I've always liked that UXM as well, it's the first app of Binary, right?

the x-men is in VF- and the airboy in about F.

But what is interesting, I found a good run of early #100's X-men at Half Price Books a while back. I bought the one's closer to 100 ie 106, 107, 115 etc. but this X-men 164 was also in the bunch.

HPB wanted about $10 per issue, so I passed on the #164, good to see it come back around!

NM98 was $50 (but had a 30% coupon) so I paid $35

NM87 was $25, NM99 was $5 and the WD50 was $15

HPB = Half Price Books

I'm guessing you already know, but HPB is having discount off your highest priced item all week. You can pull books and have them hold them for you up to a week and use a new coupon every day on one book.

You must have grabbed those from one of the stores south of downtown, northern suburbs stores haven't gotten anything good like that in years. Niles maybe, but that store doesn't price books like that.

Wait a minute, on one book? How does that work? They'll hold it up to a week? I went by my HPB today and they had a green lantern #16 that looked nice but priced at $150... come to find out it had a light subscription crease....but if I could get them to hold it until Sunday for 50% off and plus tax get it for $80 I'd be tempted...

You can get them to hold as much stuff as you want within reason. Pick up the book on Sunday and you can get it for 50% off.

Thanks! That sounds cool, I'll inquire tomorrow. Also my HPB was offering a 10% off coupon if you sold something to them, with no minimum, I took a $1 reader sold it for a quarter. The 10% off coupon was good to use once until November, you never know when it could come in handy....

I don't think the coupons this week also were not for the highest cost item, but it is for the entire purchase....

it may be different in your area. The ones in my area are X percentage off one item, today and tomorrow is 30%, Friday and Saturday are 40% and Sunday 50%

Ah I had to go back and look, but your right, it's the highest priced item. 

I am just hesitant to go back this weekend for the higher % off, because the road my HPB is on is the same as the Patty's Day parade....
