Popular Post Buzzetta
After hearing that another board member had some luck and needing to go to Target to buy something, I hit up the local train station flea market to kill time for a half hour. I took this in as a rescue. Edited November 16, 2020 by Buzzetta Deadpoolica, F For Fake, littledoom and 8 others

Australian Playboys in really, really good order, (most like new) with quite a few celeb issues (not the ultra expensive Danni Minogue one sadly) - 170 of them, plus 10 Modern reprint Western thingys (which I have no idea about.) Total Cost - $350 USD he Australian ones are hard to find in the states and sell easily. Beige
Popular Post littledoom
Estate sale collection I picked up over the weekend. Nice full run of Thor from 130-399. I saw the 337 newsstand and knew to buy the whole box. Each box was $75. I was delighted to see the price change from .25 to .15 to .12 as I was going through the issues glued together at home. I can’t think of an 80s limited series that wasn’t in this collection. Many full runs and sets. Lots of Punisher, X-Men, Thor, Silver Surfer Edited November 25, 2020 by littledoom mrwoogieman, Morganmi, Old_Man_Adam and 12 others

Bird
6250 + vig "true attic estate find" I was hoping to get this one but too many eyes on it I guess. I went out and looked at these and the Unseen 9 & 10 are in nice condition. Some other nice books but a ton of GA in ratty brittle condition, what fun that would have been. Congrats to the buyer! I like the $300-$500 estimate. Since you went to see them, are all of the comics pictured? There are some good ones shown but $6000 seems nuts. I see about 12-15 comics that are worthwhile, but depends on condition. If 15 decent ones, that is $416 per comic.

No there were quite a few comics in this lot, maybe 100+, a stack 2 feet high or so. So many were falling apart. They have never been bagged from the looks of them. Here are 3. Unseen 10 has a 4.5 sale at $1020 recently. (IIRC). Edited November 19, 2020 by Bird F For Fake

Essentially having customers do a big part of their job for them (aka staying on top of their inventory). I mean, I get it...but...still annoying. That's why you put the cheap stuff on top. When they get sick of looking up $5 books, they ask how much you want to pay for everything.

srezvan
Thursday morning yard sale advertising comics? Yeah, I'll bite. No pics of the comics, but I did see the corner of a "toys" sign. I get lost and get there 15 minutes after they open and the comics were sold "early in the morning," except for a few. Uh, yeah, I'll pass on the 10 random issues of Generation X. But I did find the toy signs. A stack of 5, I bought them all. They look familiar and the guy said they are from Toys R Us, but I'm not sure. Popular Post littledoom
$25 yard sale haul. The Alley cost as much the comics. I love play sets. They’re almost always more valuable than individual the figures they represent. This box is so darn minty.. Thrilled to own my first McFarlane autographed comic. I’ve owned around ten Stan Lee autos before I had 1 Todd. Edited November 21, 2020 by littledoom cabinboy, Beige, Eddragon and 3 others
