I just picked up an entire run: 1-12 first prints all in fine/vf condition at a comic book show yesterday for 60 bucks. I've always been a fan but never went after the individual issues until about a month ago as "side project" from completing my turtles runs.

So after reading this I was inspired to dig through my boxes and find my Tick comics, and my memory of quantity and quality were way off. I only had four issues, with issue 9 being the only first print.

 

I do however have #1.... sixth printing

Collecting Tick has been really easy and straight forward compaired to trying to collect the other things I am interested in. I love finding a complete story run on ebay for cheap. The quality of most of the Tick issues out there isn't fantastic, even from NEC themselves, but I am so glad they are out there in abundance.

 

And Edlund seems to be a laid back autographer, always finding an obscure sig and sketch

Love the Tick! It's about time he returned. I think both series, live action and animated, were cancelled prematurely. I wonder if Captain Liberty would return...
