DC's recently solicited (July18 Previews) Hardcover for the Shazam Monster Society of Evil, which was already announced then aborted a few years ago had again been cancelled and will not be re-solicited - https://www.bleedingcool.com/2018/08/01/dc-comics-cancels-shazam-the-monster-society-of-evil-hardcover-over-racist-concerns/ I was looking forward to the collection. One of the titles I kept was this one. Heritage had a beautiful run of Church copies in the auction on Sunday that I hoped to add to the run. Collecting being what it is, I was on an airplane when the books came up and I was the underbidder on almost every single one. Here is one of the Church copies I got from John Verzyl a few years ago.
