What are the first few issues where you bought multiple copies?

Here are a few books I've bought multiples off the stands, some I still have a few OO dupes.

 

Moon knight first series 1

dazzler 1

kazar 1 1980's

ff byrne 232-240+

xmen 137-150

valiant were great money makers

tnmt 2-5 missed out on 1

daredevil 160-187 or so

teen titans 10-20 or so

wolverine limited 1

asm 200

asm 252

asm 300

spiderman 1-10 mcfarland anyone need unread white paged 9.8's raw

I'm sure there were others

The first for me was Giant-Size Fantastic Four #6, a reprint of FF Special #6. I bought another copy because I literally read my first one to pieces. The comic was still displayed on the spinner rack at Shaver's when I bought my back-up, so I killed my original over the course of a summer. I eventually swapped for a neighbor's copy when I destroyed the back-up, too.

Off my local dealer I remember picking up 3 or 4 copies of Wolverine mini #1 and Ronin #1.

 

I remember how hot that Wolverine Limited was, my local dealer had to of ordered 200-300 copies. He was opening a sealed case, everyone was eager to get there copies, like a pirana feeding frenzy. Seemed like everyone was picking up extra copies of that book. A good selling book was like 20-30 copies in his store, this was like 10 times the volume. Good payday for him.

Hear these Dell/GK/Valiant books are all getting rebooted this spring ...........I may actually buy a few new books

Bought 5 ASM 300 off the stands.

 

Bought 2 or 3 copies of Next Men 21 when it came out.

 

Bought about 20 more a year before the movie came out. Had the privilege of subbing and owning the 2nd 3rd and 4th CGC 9.8 copies.

Next Men was a dying title at that point, and no one had ever heard of "Hellboy."

I bought multiple issues of every Marvel in print from 1972 through 1976 . . . Why? Because I was in high school, and worked at the local drug store and I could afford it. Did I think my Hulk #181's were going to be worth thousands of dollars someday?

Marvel Secret Wars 1-12. One issue from the newstand (actually Wal-Mart) which I read immediately. One copy ordered from Mile High every month which I stashed away unread. I thought everyone in the world would order multiple copies of this.
