Thanks, I went through the checklist and wrote down what I need. Any idea how hard those issues of Sizzle magazine are to find? This could be my 2011 goal since I'm missing very little of this series.

Good luck finding a Vootie, they are a rare item... (I've had a search on eBay for 2-3 years and think I've only seen one issue come up.)

Sizzle #28 was tough for me to find (I missed it in real time). This is her only cover appearance so far in the Sizzle run.

 

Important tip, Omaha has NOT been in every issue since #28. Many, but not all. I think all the issues with Omaha have cover mention of it, but my copies are not here to check.

Sizzle issues are on eBay regularly and at a decent price. I think with a little money and a lot of patience a complete run can be had pretty easily.

Which brings up a question I have been wondering about.

 

Is it harder to give a grade estimate for pressing (e.g. "proscreen") when a book is in a slab?

 

I'm thinking it would be.
