I used to have a comic catalog back in the '70s (I think it was Pacific Comics) that used that same painting for it's cover.  It was definitely the best produced dealer catalog I had ever seen.  I wish I still had that book.  A collectible in it's own right.

Looked up national lampoon number one and you can buy one for $100 or less so not too valuable , there is a couple issues that are popular like the one with a gun pointed at a dog which said buy this issue or dog dies

The Frazetta issues are the big dogs with National Lampoon.

Actually from a couple weeks ago, but realize I hadn't posted it yet.  Frank Frazetta cover; Vaughn Bode, Neal Adams, Gahan Wilson, and Jeff Jones inside.

Sorry for the slight edits to the image; I was 90% sure it would be safe for the boards but not 100%...

Does anyone know how CGC decides which B&W comics they’ll slab?

Eerie #1 is a no-no but they slab Cerebus #1’s both real and counterfeit and the above fanzine?

I’m trying to wrap my mind around what they will or will not slab in the B&W market...

I sort of remember they used to have stories where humans and apes were sort of evenly matched up and warring with eachother sort of conan fantasy style, i don't think they had guns and such

That scene looks right out of one of the planet of apes movies?
