CGC & RAW GOLDEN AGE CLASSIC COVERS, GGA, AND FICTION HOUSE!

+1

:sorry: :sorry:

Also, keep in mind that few people collect both FH and Bats books (not mutually exclusive, but not often a combined focus)...lots of Batman fans you are not connecting with right now, might want to consider starting a second thread then neither would distract from the other hm

The books that don't sell will go in Clink, definitely not Heritage considering they charge both the buyer and seller ends on their premium %.

I talked to my dad about the 4 raw golden age Batmans as they were in a sale pending phase and he said they are available again since the person did not have the funds to buy them.

I will update the inventory list again shortly.......

I would not be so sure about that Snake Eyes in regards to few people collecting Fiction House. My thread is dominated by that publisher and have had a plethora of PMs from different users. This doesn't include issues that I have bought and sold in the past before starting this thread.

All,

Need your advice on this. I am considering breaking out the Exciting 34 while still keeping the CGC label on the side.(or throw it out?!) I just find it an embarrassment for this book to be in a holder with the terrible grade CGC gave it.

In fact, if I get enough support, I will provide a lot of scans and the colors will make you drop to the floor. I will even scan where the color bleeding is to prove CGC was 100% wrong in their grading!

CGC doesn't usually make mistakes like that. Maybe you should run it by someone like Matt Nelson or Steve Borock and get their opinion. If they came on here and said it was good, people might be more receptive.

I know what you mean, but before I sent the book down to CGC, I had enough feedback/support from dealers at a NY show where they felt it was definitely color bleeding and at lowest the book would have graded at either 7.5/8.0

(Color bleeding is inside interior front cover only by the way)

Dealers at a show or CGC. (shrug)

Crack it out and lose the label and you'll end up the subject of a thread in Comics General. They love finding that stuff.

As long as you disclose that it was previously graded by CGC as a 5.0 you should be fine...If you don't I'm sure you'll be crucified... 2c

With long nails.

Cracking it out is fine, especially to show what your talking about. I'd show the label CGC gave it in the sale, and send it along with the book to the purchaser. I've seen it done that way many times.

I think most people are going to side with CGC's opinion. If you can prove there is no CT, that's probably something you should take up with them.
