Over at heritage in 2019, it went for $144k.  So pretty much the same price as the ComicLink, $3k less At ComicLink

I recall when JIM 83 in 9.4s would easily sell for over 200K ++

That was a nice copy, too -- someone picked it up off the Comiclink exchange for $7300 and put it directly into the next big auction.  Good move!

If they have a reseller permit then they are looking really good.  For the regular guy, after taxes and fees it’s a $400 flip.  Not bad for a regular guy but even better for a reseller; about a $1100 flip

That was a dynamite 5.0...even the back looked pretty sharp. Strong price for sure but not all 5.0’s are equal

I assumed it was a reseller -- or Comiclink themselves...otherwise, maybe not worth it.  But c-mkv is on the money -- the book, not the grade, is the key to the big sales.  Can't wait to post my new one when it arrives!

there are 5 copies of JIM83 in heritage's upcoming auction. either they are confident that this book is going to be hot or they're just being greedy. that seems like way too many to drop in the same auction.
