A novelty done-in-one from Marvel. White pages again.

Some context on this book. This was Marvel’s first attempt at channeling some of what Dell comics was doing with licensing TV material. The next decade would see them go all in. Much like their early attempts with magazine publishing being tried out around this same time they were trying new things out. Having FF and Spiderman in it made it all the more natural for them in 1967. I lifted the shots below from the dial B blog site to show you where the cover images came from along with the original cover art and TV season ad from the comics. Me I just loving seeing things like Casper right next to the Fantastic Four in the same comic...

Bravo :golfclap:so much vintage awesomeness in one book :cloud9:

Thanks for posting the ads and identifying where the art came from!! Marvel's 2 giants FF and ASM I'm sure were a goldmine for them. No accident they wanted them on Saturday mornings! Probably helped them sell a few more books. I wish I was around back then. What a time to be growing up

Nice Batman pages too! Something I like to do when having time to kill is scour the web for some noteworthy pages or the splash from books I'm posting (thumbsu. Some are frustrating to find though

Next is my all time favorite Batman cover from his “bad” “fat Elvis” period. I’ve loved this cover since I saw this from the 1970’s in a DC giant.

Even the letters page of the time gives me little hope for fandom of that era...

Yours looks a lot better than mine...LOL

And, as for the letters page...Gosh, I wish my name was "Skippy"...
