Been after this one for a while now. Upgrading from a restored 3.0.

I just picked up the Amazing Spider-Man #15 CGC 5.5 from a fellow board member.

Thanks, @Gsims718 , for selling me this book and packing so well it could survive a nuclear explosion. xD

That's awesome! And a great read throughout the Kraven issues from #1-100 :)

I remember my subscription to spider-man classics as a kid, and 5.5 is not a cheap book! Congrats on holding out for decent page quality as well! ^^

I’m making an effort to pick up more silver age stuff and less modern newsstands. My recent pickups #5 is a 7.5 and #6 is an 8.5. I’ve cropped out the cases label as they’re not CGC.

I think this series is way underrated. Once Subby hits the silver screen, I think they'll really take off. I picked up issues 1-10 in the last two years.

I have #1 in 9.0, #2 through #120 in 9.4

So you have X-men 2 through 120 all in 9.4? That's super impressive! What about GSXM?

I'm shooting for a much smaller mini run GSXM to #100 mostly in 9.8 with a couple of 9.6s in there. I only have #95 left out.

My Giant-Size X-Men #1 is a 9.4 as well.

A 9.6 / 9.8 run of GSX #1 and X-Men #94-100 is extremely impressive!

I have #1 in 9.0, #2 through #120 in 9.4, and #121 through #143 in a mix of 9.4 - 9.8.  The rest of the run (up to and including 2012, when I quit buying new comics cold turkey) is raw.

I generally stop the slabs around 1975 for most titles, but with ASM I decided to go all the way through issue #400 (#151-200 in 9.6, #201-400 in 9.8).  X-Men is the only other title I would consider worth the trouble, and of course the modern X-Men didn't even start until 1975.  So I do flirt with the idea of upgrading to a 9.6 / 9.8 run starting at issue #121 and going to, say, #200.  As my Silver Age want list shrinks more and more, I may eventually do that just to keep the thrill of the chase active in my collection.  :whee:

So, once I get an idea in my head it tends to get stuck there, so I decided to extend the run by going after #144 through #201 in 9.8 WP.  I made a big dent two weekends ago, and have gotten within five issues of completion in the last few days.  That's what happens when you tell me I can't leave the house!

(Apologies for the slight thread hijack, as I realize these are not Silver Age comics.)
