Artist Ed Vebell Illustration Art For Sale

8 posts in this topic

Hi Guys,

I'm working on a story on Ed Vebell and several other artists and I purchased a piece of art from him. Ed is 89 years old and as you can imagine it's a bit of a chore for him to pack up art and ship it out, so in order to make it worth his while and get him so more money, he gave me permission to try and sell some of this other art for him.

If anything interests you, let me know, all reasonably priced. These images are from photographs he sent me in the mail, so some might not be as "sharp" as they are in person. Some of these Ed gave me info on them, others he didn't. If you would like me to ask for more details on something, let me know, though the answers may or may not be timely. Ed did a lot of work for the Sunday Mirror Magazine so some of these with no info may have come from there.

Hi Mitch,

I have the prices at home. Let me get back to you a little later on tonight when I get home, but you'll get the first chance at it.

In the meantime, I also have this from artist Charles Liese if anyone is interested

This was commissioned by Bradford Exchange for a GONE WITH THE WIND collector's plate, but they decided not to use this particular design, though the one they did use was nearly identical. This is particularly nice. - $400
