And, fresh in today, Mad #25.  This gives me a complete run of Mad 20-31, covering the last 4 comic book issues, all 5 Kurtzman edited magazine size issues, and the first 3 Feldstein edited issues, which also happens to use up the last of the inventory from Kurtzman.

I still need about half the comic issues, but I think this gives me a very interesting and important run of books.  Also some very, very funny reading!

Congrats on complete your run of 20 - 31 those are all great issues, the covers alone were worth the 25 cents back then

Haven't seen that cover variant before on the Mad Book Of Magic. Bought a copy when it came out as a 10 year old kid thinking that it would have the best magic tricks, being from Mad and all. One of my favorite early reads, to be sure! Wore out a few copies.....none of which looked like that one! Nice!

Not Mad, and not real old, but I thought this was funny when I saw it.  A satire magazine for Jews by Jews...

Anywhere  in that issue of Heeb do they credit the creator of the poster, made in 1967 that I actually still have my copy of in some rolled tube somewhere, who was borrowed from, for the cover image?

I don't know...I'd have to dig it out and look...but that would take some excavation in boxes...LOL

From my LCS today, at $1 each.  I’m happy:

I remember grabbing several of those off the newsstand at the local drugstore. I always loved the Spy Vs. Spy stuff and the Sergio Aragones, but I treasured those Don Martin collections almost as much. Great stuff!!
