Preview night was available to the general public. You just had to be in San Diego during the last comic-con.

Preview Night tickets are not being made available for sale to the general public this year. And yes it's because they sold them all to attendees of the 2010 SDCC. But not sure why you would consider attendees of an exclusive sold out show "the general public". (shrug)

Any person could have gone to San Diego without attending SDCC 2010 and bought their tickets for 2011. Thus it was not exclusive to attendees.

yes, they COULD have. but the fact that you HAVE to sucks for lots of people. they should set aside 1/4 of the tickets for the people who are planning to come in the future. only a jerk can't understand that. you act as if everyone is close enough, or can afford to come to san diego every year.

I know they were for sale in the convention center but you would have had to have a (sold out) ticket to the 2010 SDCC to get in so that you could purchase the 2011 tickets...

Where were they were selling SDCC 2011 tickets at in San Diego because you keep mentioning that anyone could have bought them if they were in San Diego during this years con...

And even so, if Preview Night tickets were available to only those in San Diego during this years convention then by your own words they were not available to the general public as anyone outside of S.D had no opportunity to buy one... doh!

What if tickets to see your favorite band went on sale but only to people at an exact location at an exact time, would that be the general public?

And who's clueless lol

their is the alternative. get an Exhibtor badge. If you have the right connections you can find a way.

Much harder to do at this show than it used to be, and even if you're successful, much more expensive than it used to be.

Indeed, it gets more difficult every year. This was the first year in a very long time where I only had a plebian badge. I still managed to borrow an exhibitor badge long enough to get in the door early and look around, but it's not easy.
