What type of holder would apply to this book

2 posts in this topic

Hi,

I'm considering submitting some norwegian modern books, these are 10.2 inches tall, 6.7 inches wide - slightly taller than the typical modern books. Would these be able to fit in a regular slab, or would they have to be placed in magazin slabs?

Also, a few of the older norwegian books I have do not have the date of publication printed on them. Would this be an issue when it comes to slabbing?

Last question - do you slab coloring books? Typically these are squarebound, with somewhat thick covers, but within the boundary of the magazin slab size.

Thank you for any input!

You can submit those under the Modern tier and we will encapsulate them in whichever case is appropriate once they are graded (we would have to measure the book against the different cases for width, height, thickness and fragility). If we are unable to determine the date we will grade the book with a notation of "no publication date" and the year will default to 1900.

We do not grade and encapsulate coloring books.
