This thread is looking like a great resource. It seems logical to have a Celebrity section as well. I'd love to know if anyone knows where Sam Jones and Melody Anderson are appearing this year.

Heck I am thinking to transfer this info to the DWC website as well. I have been toying with the idea of having a creator page on our website as the creators are announced by the different shows. That way people who are not CGC board members have a place to go to look up the info on a regular basis. Hopefully it helps to introduce more people to the CGC concept.

I kept a spreadsheet of creator appearances last year and my #1 suggestion is have an individual assigned for each show. The main reason? Updates. There are additions and cancellations on a regular basis and the majority of convention sites do not list additions/cancellations throughout the year- you ultimately have to comb over the listings on a regular basis.

Heck I am thinking to transfer this info to the DWC website as well. I have been toying with the idea of having a creator page on our website as the creators are announced by the different shows. That way people who are not CGC board members have a place to go to look up the info on a regular basis. Hopefully it helps to introduce more people to the CGC concept.

 

It might be more appropriate on the CGC website.

Actually, I included some C2E2 appearances in the list, I just didn't add it to the legend.

 

I agree, we should split up the list and assign one person to maintain updates for any given show. I guess I can take the Arizona show, since it's happening this weekend, and WonderCon, since I know I'm going to that show. Hmm, I guess I need to become a facilitator for WonderCon too... :) The Cal Comic Con is only going to have 2 guests, so I'll watch over that one as well.

I will be attending and accepting CGC SS submissions for MegaCon. I will start a thread here in the signature forum once I get confirmation from CGC.

 

I will not be accepting the following requests from MegaCon:

 

Stan Lee Signatures (if you want Stan I reccomend going through DWC)

Celebrity/Media Guests

Sketch Requests

 

In addition for those who are planning on going to ANY SHOW where John Beatty is attending. Beatty has posted on his webiste that he will only sign books for CGC for a fee and only if its prearanged.
