PGM Exciting Comics #59

8 posts in this topic

Sorry again but I don't have scans, just photos. This is Exciting Comics #59. The main flaw with the comic is some rust on the staples, and small amounts of resulting discoloration. Otherwise it's in nice condition with very firm paper, tight staples, clean pages, fresh colors, and so on.

I think that's from the string that was used to bind the original bundles...you know these books were often tied up like newspaper bundles. :o

Sure, that makes sense. (thumbs u So how does CGC handle binding indents? Do they get a pass, or are they deducted like any other flaw?

Is that a very small tear on the lower back? .

I see the place you mean. I just got out the comic (man I hate handling comics in nice condition), and it is not a tear. I ran my finger over it and nothing moved. Seems to be just discoloration.

Nice to hear people put this in the 6.0 / 6.5 range. I might send it in to CGC and if so, will post the results.
