Was asked by some to continue to post updates on my current Jam piece I'm working on. If you don't already know, I'm recreating the cover of Amazing Spider-Man 100 and am having each character drawn by a different artist.

So far sketches have been obtained from Fan Expo Canada, Baltimore comic con, and Monroe comic con. My latest update is a Clayton Crain Carnage and a Keith Pollad Black Cat (who is the co created of her), they both nailed it! Included some pictures below, and a list of the artists I have obtained. Hoping to add a Mark Bagley full body Spider-Man and a Liefeld vulture at La Comic Con. My goal is to some how get J Scott Campbell on this. The paper is 13x17image.jpeg.530b53ab8675f4a6ebc7a4aa1b6d4259.jpegimage.png.db5422597cbad5f63c8f703beaeabd5d.pngimage.png.6150087f08f97429ad6f730d8359f7a9.png

Adam Hughes- Gwen Stacy

Mike Zeck- Punisher

Humberto Ramos- Green Goblin

Erik Larsen- Dr. Octopus

Ed McGuinness- Mysterio

Adi Granov- Venom

Joe Jusko- Electro

Clayton Crain- Carnage

Keith Pollard- Black Cat

This will be a pencil only commission, but I do plan on getting copies inked and colored and make a very limited amount of prints of a pencil, inked and a colored version. Let me know if anyone is interested in one

Man-Thing claims the "Iron" Throne

If you haven't seen Jeff's work on CAF, you should definitely check it out.  Amazingly detailed and he works large, this piece is 20x15!

I want to have an artist do a commission of a Matt Baker romance cover. Anyone have any suggestions of what artists may be best suited and willing to do this type of thing. I would prefer an artist who has been in the business for a while, but if not I would still consider him or her.

Recreation? Bruce McCorkindale does great work. You can find him here and on FB. You can find lots of examples on the CAF.

He did this for my wife's Christmas. Click to expand.

What if Sabrina Spellman used her magic to join Josie & the Pussycats during the height of the american surf music craze in the early 1960's and then put a spell on the legendary Bob Keane so he would give them a recording deal on his Del-Fi label? I wonder how the album sleeve would look...?

I passed the question along to Bill Galvan and it resulted in this:

I asked Eduardo BARRETO for a Starjammers commission (I think his style fits perfectly well with the characters).

Some time later, Eduardo provided two prelims featuring Marvel's space pirates.

Both were so good that it was impossible for me to choose one.

So, I didn't choose.

Here's Starjammers # 1 ...

... and Starjammers # 2.

More on my CAF galley .

You right, Barreto’s was perfect for this group of characters. Not a big fan of these characters but your commissions make me want to check out the Star Jammers.

It's been so long since I commissioned something, I forgot to post this here

My wonderful wife, Kathy, bought me a simple spectacular 35th wedding anniversary present. It took a while to create, but Yale Stewart of the JL8 webcomic nailed it.

This piece is a JL8-style version of the Silver Age Legion of Super-Heroes, my favorite comic team. If you click the link and read the description, you'll learn who is who and what's going on.

That's an amazingly good piece.

The Silver Age Legion was really a terrific mix of fun. When I was younger, JLA took top honors, but eventually, LSH surpassed it.

One of my favorite themes in my collection is Batman in his anti-Superman armor from the Dark Knight Returns final chapter “The Dark Knight Falls”

Below you can see three of my favorite pieces from the theme. The are by Chris Samnee, Aaron Kuder, and Carlos D’Anda. I hope you like them.
